I’m Neil. I live in Minneapolis. I’ve been into music since I was 15, started with Synthpop and New Wave, got into Joy Division and that changed things. I was the guitarist and composer for Autumn (we were on Tess records with This Ascension and Fatih And The Muse) for 14 years. I’m now playing in a new band called Scarlet Mother. https://www.facebook.com/ScarletMother
Some of my favorite bands-The Cult, The Sisters of Mercy, The Mission, The Chameleons, Covenant, SITD, Project Pitchfork, Gary Numan, OMD, Ultravox, The Church, A Flock of Seagulls, Depeche Mode, Mephisto Waltz, VNV, The Soft Moon, Devo, New Order and Fields of the Nephilim to name a few.
My day job is teaching the Dakota (Sioux) language.
I love playing guitar and writing music. I’m always looking for cool bands.
Timelines is the 18th solo album from veteran Norwegian ambient/electronic artist Erik Wøllo. It’s a warm, epic and shimmering cycle of memorable electronic music. Noted for his many Echoes Radio albums of the month – and placement on “Best of the Year” lists at Amazon, Zone Music Reporter, Schallwelle Award (Germany), and others – Timelines continues in that tradition with nine engaging pieces exploring the idea of music and time: how elements of past, present and future affect a listener’s perceptions.
As Nations Decay: 2nd album from the US industrial/hard dance duo, featuring collaborations with NITRO/NOISE and SLEETGROUT. Limited edition digipak version with 3 exclusive bonus tracks – remixes from AESTHETIC PERFECTION, ALTER DER RUINE and CRYOGENIC ECHELON!
